This is a work from home telecommute position!

Lead Security Engineer to oversee the results of our detection algorithms, analyze suspicious code snippets to detect malicious activity, and write rules that allow our security system to neutralize. A meticulous approach and incredibly honed pattern matching skills is required to maximize our clients’ protection while minimizing F- and F+.
Your core priorities will be to:  
  • Constantly enhance our security detection methods
  • Maximize our client’s protections while minimizing false negatives and false positives
  • Map the tactics, techniques & procedures of the attacks, create attribution models that map the malicious actors
  • Drive our security modeling strategy
  • Assess the completeness of our security data model and work alongside our Product & Engineering teams to develop code that integrates your learning’s and improves our data capture models and security methods
  • Research for case studies and white papers on malicious & fraudulent ads
  • Maintain relationships with counterparts in ad tech and security companies, representing our company amongst a community of like-minded problem solvers and hackers
  • Relevant, deep, hands-on, technical security experience with complex software applications, such as JavaScript engines (e.g. Chakra, V8, SpiderMonkey) and operating systems (e.g. Windows, ChromeOS, Linux)
  • Skilled in multiple programming and scripting languages, such as C, C++, Python, Java, Assembly, JavaScript, Shell scripting, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking protocols, security standards, software architectures and operating system internals
  • Able to communicate effectively and work well in a fast-moving, collaborative team; ideally, we are looking for someone who can serve as a mentor and provide guidance to other team members
  • Experience developing tools to automate security testing and enable more efficient discovery and resolution of security problems
  • Experience in reverse engineering and debugging malicious code in real-time using virtual or physical debuggers
  • Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Browsers API
  • Expert level JavaScript Engines experience
  • Experience with Malware Reverse Engineering
  • Interest in all aspects of security research and development

  • Security disclosures that contributed to work which went public
  • High impact security work
  • Frequent contributor of code to libraries (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)
  • Comfortable with continuous development
  • Background in ML
  • Strong Math aptitude
